Installed WordPress to this site and re-posted all of the previous content. This was an important change because Google had begun penalizing websites that were not mobile friendly. If you look at the first entry in this log, you will see that it begins with becoming “standards based”. With WordPress, I no longer need to invest so much effort into keeping up with the constant changes on the internet. Another very important addition to the website at this time is the blog. I will be importing some of my old Christian writings from my other blog. It only makes sense to do it this way now that both sites are WordPress sites.
Almost two years ago I started a blog with every intention of posting the RSS link on this site. Finaly, that RSS feed has been added to the front page of this site.
Now that the main part of the Expression of Grace story is completed, I have added some better navigation to the pages so you can easily move from one page of the story to the next. I think, with that update, I can finally say that the website is officially finished. The other stuff that I will add later is not central to the story line.
Completed the Shrouded Truths page.
Pushing forward with the new content. With the completion of Page Eight, we come to the end of the Expression of Grace story. But the story does continue. Please bare with me as I work towards updating the content with the new “pages”.
Completed Sharing Grace.
Finally moving forward with more content. I apologize to you who have been waiting for more. The good news is that An Expression of Grace has been making a difference in people’s lives. We are getting prayer requests and comments and it is all very encouraging. I have also been sharing this message in person with professional musicians lately. The Holy Spirit prompted me to hold a meeting to share this story as a testimony. Since then, other musicians have asked me to share the same message. Page seven is about the conditions of grace. It is probably one of the most important pages in the story and I feel bad for taking so long to publish it.
Completed Expressing Grace.
I have decided to upload these pages only after they are completed from now on. So the intervals between uploads may be longer. With this part of the story completed, we are ready to move forward to the page called “Conditions: Sharing Grace With Others”. (May change the name of that page, but we’ll see when it’s done what it should be called.)
Added more content to Self Expression.
Almost done now. Looking forward to working on page six, “Music Should Be and Expression of God’s Grace In My Life”.
Added more content to Page Five.
Added a blog about sleeping.
I apologize to those who have been expecting more content. I have been very busy over the past few months. Please be patient with me.
Competed the first part of Page Five.
Finished Page Four. Looking forward to starting work on Page Five, My Music Should Be An Expression of Who I Am.
Added the pictures on page four. That page is almost done. I just need to work on some kind of summary. Then it’s on to talking about how music should be an expression of who we are – on page five.
Added more content to page four (I Live Each Day In God’s Grace). This page is still not finished yet, but I’d say about eighty percent of the content is there. I still need to upload some pictures and add more content to the “obese” part of the story.
The prayer request form is now working.
About the picture above: I took this picture on my last trip to South Africa. The location is called Schoenmakerskop; one of my favorite places in the entire world.
Uploading the changes to the server tonight. Halleluiah!!! My first “Standards-Based” website. He he he…. I never thought I would make this change but now that I have, I’m glad I did. I actually enjoyed the switch. Next on the list is to add a prayer request form. I know it’s a simple thing to do with PHP, but the truth is, I’m working out of a book and I don’t want to skip any chapters. So it may be a while.
Changing software and making general updates to all pages. Previous website version was created using Front Page, which apparently is no longer supported by current webhosts.
